Сall for applications for TSU students Master-level studies within the framework of Erasmus + International Credit Mobility at the University of A Coruña (Spain)!

 

 

!!! The implementation of physical mobility will depend on the epidemiological situation in Georgia and Spain, as well as on entry and stay regulations in the host country.

 

 

 

The given call is valid for TSU students of the first and the second semester of Master-level studies at the following academic fields:

 

Fields of Study (in Spanish):

  • Law (for students of the Faculty of Law);
  • Sociology (for students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences);
  • Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics (for students of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences);
  • Spanish Language and Literature (for students of the Faculty of Humanities).

Mobility Period: Spring Semester 2022

 

 

The applicants for the given call should meet one of the below-listed prerequisites:

a) The following certificates have taken at least 4 calendar years before the end of the registration of the current competition: Spanish: DELE (B2), eLADE (B2);

b) TSU institutional language test results (with a minimum score of 71 points), which is valid for the semester of testing and the next semester (respectively, the result of testing for March 2, 2021, or October 6, 2021, is valid);

 OR 

c) An official certificate of attendance at a foreign higher education institution for at least 1 semester indicating the language of instruction where Spanish was used as the language of instruction.

 

 

Selection process:

Stage 1: Eligibility check (Tbilisi State University);

Stage 2: Interview with the selection committee (Tbilisi State University);

Stage 3: Nomination for mobility/scholarship award (host University) 

 

 

Required documents:

  1. A copy of a passport (in case you do not have one, please upload a copy of your ID card); 
  2. CV in Europass format (in English);
  3. A copy of a certificate of enrollment at TSU (in English);
  4. Scanned PDF version of the bachelor's degree;
  5. Bachelor's Degree Supplement with GPA Indication (in English);
  6. A Transcript of Records of current academic level (in English; the document should indicate the GPA);
  7. A certificate of English language competence (International language certificate or a certificate of study abroad at a university level for at least of 1 semester, if any. Applicants with the minimum score of 71 points in TSU institutional language test, do not need to upload a document);
  8. A formal document confirming disability, if applicable;
  9. Duly filled and signed learning agreement (scanned pdf version). To complete the learning agreement, please have a look at the courses offered by the University of A Coruña make note of courses relevant to your home faculty, taking into careful consideration your study level and major field of study (program), consult with the home faculty Quality Assurance Service and then fill in the first page of the document; once filled, the document should be signed and stamped by a relevant representative of the home Faculty QA service and the applicant), appendix 1. (Please see the order/regulation);
  10. A letter of recommendation (recommendation should be submitted electronically by filling in the questionnaire available in the mobility management portal (mobility.tsu.ge), by a recommender indicated in the application form by the applicant; the questionnaire is sent automatically to the e-mail address entered in the portal by the applicant. It is necessary to fill in the recommendation and send it electronically before the deadline for submission of documents).
  11. A motivation letter (in English) with the following technical specifications:  length - no more than 1 page; font - Times New Roman, font size - 12, line spacing - 1.0, fields – 2cm.

 

 

 

Interested eligible applicants should register at the electronic registration portal of exchange and mobility program management mobility.tsu.ge, upload the full application package (in PDF format) and submit it no later than 14:00 on October 27, 2021.

 

Scholarship includes: 

  • Tuition waiver,
  • Monthly stipend in the amount stipulated by the EACEA;
  • International travel costs (within the financial limit set by the EACEA, see the distance calculator for details).

!!! Visa and travel insurance-related costs are not included in the scholarship and should be paid for by the selected student(s).

 

 

Additional important information:

 

a) Electronic registration portal mobility.tsu.ge  

Please note that the mobility management portal mobility.tsu.ge mobility.tsu.ge:

  • Does not allow submissions after the deadline (14:00, 27 of October, 2021.);
  • Does not allow to register an incomplete application package. 
  • The application form is considered electronically submitted only after pressing the send button. 
  • Upon successful submission of the application, the applicant will receive a relevant email notification.
  • The date and time of the interview will be communicated individually to all applicants on the e-mail address indicated in the portal mobility.tsu.ge.
  • Applicants will be interviewed remotely! 

 

b) Finances and restrictions related to Covid-19

Please note that:

  • physical mobility may be related to compliance with administrative rules and regulations regarding entry into the host country, such as the document confirming; the completion of the full course of vaccination, PCR examination (once or repeatedly), stay in quarantine space, travel, health and accident insurance that is related to the financial costs and as well as time resource. All such costs should be paid for by the selected student(s);
  • As a result of the restrictions imposed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the selected student(s) will receive the first tranche of the scholarship no earlier than 6 weeks after arriving at the host university, registering at the local municipality, and at the bank department.
  • due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in exceptional cases, mobility for the Spring semester 2022 may be canceled or postponed until the Fall semester of 2022-23 of an academic year!;

 

C) The basis for organizing the competition and the selection procedure

  • Following Article 492, Paragraph 4 of the Law of Georgia on Higher Education, students retain active enrolment at their home universities while on a study abroad. Therefore, successful completion of the administrative registration at TSU at the beginning of each semester spent abroad is mandatory! Noncompliance with this rule will result in the suspension of mobility.
