TSU hosted a presentation of books published as part of a student scientific project. During the event, TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia noted that the university will always support student initiatives, in both scientific and cognitive-entertainment areas.
The published books reflect the material collected and processed during the student scientific expedition.
“It was very interesting and pleasant for me to familiarize myself with these works. These are scientific works that will become an even more valuable source in the years to come,” said Jaba Samushia.
The books covering the municipalities of Signagi, Tsalka, Dusheti, and Dmanisi were published in 2025–2026 by students from the Department of Geography at the TSU Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, under the guidance of Assistant Professor Giorgi Dvalashvili.
The co-authors are BA Geography students Natela Papoyan, Anaid Manukyan, Nino Tsikolia, Ana Gulbani, Aleksandre Inashvili, Saba Darbaidze, and Irine Gaprindashvili; and MA students Mariam Japoshvili, Meri Chitishvili, Giorgi Abramishvili, Lasha Karkusashvili and Khatia Kvelashvili.
