In preparation for the new academic year, TSU Rector and Academician Jaba Samushia inspected the renovation and rehabilitation works currently underway in TSU’s academic buildings, accompanied by university administration representatives.
As part of these efforts, the learning spaces for the School of Tourism at the Faculty of Economics and Business in TSU’s Building IX have been upgraded. Computer labs and a student service center have been established. The computer labs are equipped with modern technology, enabling students and faculty to conduct classes in a modern environment.
Infrastructure improvements are also being carried out in TSU’s Building X. The lecture halls and computer areas on the fourth and sixth floors are being renovated to enhance the learning environment and create suitable conditions for students.
Additionally, large-scale rehabilitation work is underway at the TSU library. As part of the project, multifunctional spaces will be fully renovated and furnished to meet modern standards and integrate infrastructure for exhibitions, administration and education.
Landscaping and improvement work on the inner courtyard of TSU’s Building 2 is also nearing completion. The project involves upgrading the courtyard infrastructure to create a modern, functional, and comfortable space, where students and staff can relax, meet and participate in various activities.
The modernization of educational infrastructure at Tbilisi State University is proceeding in stages. The ongoing work aims to create a modern, safe environment tailored to the needs of students and academic staff.
Tbilisi State University provided some of the funding for these infrastructure projects with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.
