TSU Hosts Foreign Students from Nine Countries

 

Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University hosted a welcoming event, organized by the Department of Foreign Relations. The event was dedicated to exchange students continuing their studies at TSU for the fall 2025-2026 semester.

This semester, TSU is hosting 26 foreign students from 14 partner universities in nine countries - France, Germany, Finland, the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Slovakia, Latvia, and Spain.

TSU Deputy Rector Erekle Astakhishvili and Head of the Department of Foreign Relations Tea Gergedava addressed the students. They emphasized the university’s values, the importance of international cooperation, and the diversity of student life.

Professor Vakhtang Licheli presented a report on Georgian culture and archaeological heritage, while representatives of the TSU Self-Government and the Erasmus Student Network introduced the foreign students to the social and cultural activities they can participate in during their stay.
