Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the British University in Georgia hosted the International Excellence School (IES) in the fields of education, humanities and social sciences. The topic of the meeting was the Application and Management of Competitive Research Projects.
The meeting covered the following issues: how a researcher should develop and write proposals for competitive research projects, how to evaluate and select appropriate national or international research funding schemes, where to familiarize with and how to apply best practices in research management. IES will provide participants with the opportunity to connect with successful Georgian and foreign scientists. The International Excellence School (IES) focuses on managing and applying competitive research projects in the fields of education, humanities and social sciences. Its goal is to equip young researchers with the latest knowledge in theory, policy and practice.
