New members of the TSU Academic Council will be elected on November 5, 2026, to fill vacant faculty and independent research unit seats on the Academic Council.
Candidate registration for Academic Council membership will begin at 10:00 am on October 19 and end at 6:00 pm on October 23 (five calendar days).
The following are eligible to be elected as Academic Council members:
a) A member of the Academic Council representing a faculty - professor and/or associate professor
b) A representative of an independent scientific research unit

Candidates must confirm in their registration applications that they do not hold academic, administrative or scientific positions at other scientific or higher educational institutions.
Candidates must submit their applications to the TSU Chancellery at the following address: Tbilisi, I. Chavchavadze Ave., TSU, 1st Building, Room No.114.
The following documents must be submitted:
Completed application form
Copy of ID card or passport
Certificate of academic position held (faculty representative)
Certificate of scientific position held (representative of an independent scientific research unit)
