The TSU Department of Culture and Sports established the Tengiz Kurashvili Prize in honor of the TSU Student Ensemble’s choreographic director, the Republic’s Honored Artist, and a dancer of the Sukhishvili ensemble’s golden generation.
The prize will be awarded annually to TSU dancers who win awards at local university events and festivals.
As part of the event, the TSU Choreographic Ensemble performed a diverse concert program. The TSU Folka band also performed, adding to the event’s special atmosphere.
