This initiative envisages the compilation of complex atlases for 12 regions of Georgia in the form of a series, entitled “Regional Atlases of Georgia.” The atlases will be compiled and prepared for publication in stages. The Geographical Atlas of the Kakheti Region is the first volume of this series. To date, only copyright copies of the atlas have been printed at the Tbilisi State University Printing House.
