The 2026 season of the Anaklia Youth Camp concluded with a celebratory event. The participants of the final cohort were congratulated on the start of the new academic year by Tbilisi State University Rector and Academician Jaba Samushia; Givi Mikanadze, the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth; Zviad Gabisonia, the Deputy Minister; and representatives of local authorities.
The TSU Rector addressed the students, wishing them a successful and productive academic year and emphasizing the importance of educational and enriching projects for young people.
In his speech, Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze discussed initiatives implemented to support students as part of the higher education system reform, as well as future plans.
In 2026, the camp operated across 12 cohorts, hosting 2,880 young people, including 720 schoolchildren and 2,160 university students. Participants in the final cohort were Tbilisi State University students.
As part of the five-day camp program, the young people took part in various educational, enriching, and sports activities. These activities gave them the opportunity to gain new knowledge and experience, interact with one another, and develop teamwork skills.
