As a result of TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia’s initiative to create and translate new textbooks, TSU has published a new textbook for students. The second book in the series, Public International Law, was written by Professor Davit Pataraia of the International Law Institute at TSU’s Faculty of Law. It is an innovative textbook that presents the subject from a variety of perspectives. This will make studying public international law easier.
“I am confident that this work will be an important resource for students and demonstrate TSU’s academic strength once again,” said Jaba Samushia.
The two-volume textbook includes the basic concepts and fundamental principles of international law, as well as a detailed overview of each recognized branch of international law. It is supplemented with documentary material, including excerpts from cases and other materials, as well as illustrative images. To simplify reading, the textbook has a specific table of contents and a term and document search function.
