The Rector of Tbilisi State University (TSU), Academician Jaba Samushia met with the winning team of the “Bookshelf” project. In 2024, the TSU student team, Crata Repoa, won the final round of the project. The winning team is comprised of students from the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences - Aleksi Sidamonidze and Giorgi Adamashvili, as well as a student from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Aleksandre Kartvelishvili.
Following the victory, Rector Samushia extended his congratulations to the students and wished them success. He offered his assistance in planning and implementing activities within the framework of student projects, which would serve as a preparatory stage for intellectual games.
During the meeting, the students engaged in a discourse on the challenges and difficulties associated with participating in the project, emphasizing the role of such projects in educational space and the positive aspects of intellectual games.
The “Bookshelf” project, which involved four games prior to the finals, saw students from TSU compete against teams from various universities. In the final round, students from TSU and Free University competed against each other. During the previous season, a total of six teams represented Tbilisi State University in the project.
The victory in the “Bookshelf” project once again confirmed the creative potential of TSU students and their proactive engagement in the educational realm. Such initiatives are instrumental in facilitating the deepening and development of students’ knowledge, thereby laying the foundation for their future intellectual and professional success.
