A presentation of the collective monograph “Transport Law: Methodological, Teleological and Comparative Legal Understanding” by Professor of the Faculty of Law, Honorary Doctor Irakli Burduli; Associate Professor Natia Chitashvili; and Ph.D. student and lawyer Ana Kharaishvili was held at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
This work is the first systematic, interdisciplinary study of transport law in Georgian legal science. It considers this area an independent legal field and pays special attention to realizing Georgia’s full transit potential.
The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Associate Professor Moris Shalikashvili. Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Zviad Gabisonia; Deputy Ministers of Justice of Georgia, Professor Merab Turava and Associate Professor Giorgi Dgebuadze; judges of the common and constitutional courts of Georgia; members of the Bar Association; and representatives of the TSU Faculty of Law administration and the academic community attended the presentation.
