Сall for applications within the framework of Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility for a semester abroad at the Clermont Auvergne (France) for the students of Master level studies of the International School of Economics at TSU

 

!!! The implementation of physical mobility will depend on the epidemiological situation in Georgia and France

 

 

 

The given call is valid for the second-semester graduate students of the International School of Economics at TSU (ISET).

 

 

Language of instruction at host institution: English

Period/semester of mobility: Fall’21 Semester of the Academic Year 2021-22

 

 

The applicants for the given call should meet one of the below-listed prerequisites:

 

1.  Own one of the following English language proficiency certificates (B2 level):

a) TOEFL, IELTS or CAMBRIDGE certificate. The certificate should be taken no earlier than 2 calendar years before the application deadline;

OR

b) TSU institutional language test results (October 5, 2020, or March 2, 2021; with a minimum score of 71 points);

OR

c) Certificate of study abroad at a university level for a minimum of 1 semester on a fully English instructed program.

 

2.  Have a minimum GPA of 3.0

 

 

Selection process:

Stage 1: Eligibility check (Tbilisi State University);

Stage 2: Interview with the selection committee (Tbilisi State University);

Stage 3: Nomination for mobility (Tbilisi State University)/scholarship award (host University).

 

 

Required documents:

  1. A copy of a passport;
  2. CV in Europass Format (in English);
  3. Certificate of enrollment at TSU; 
  4. A Transcript of Records of current academic level (in English; the document should indicate the GPA);
  5. A copy of the Bachelor’s diploma, scanned version;
  6. A copy of the Diploma Supplement (in English; the document should indicate the GPA);
  7. A certificate of foreign language competence (see above the Prerequisites section)
  8. A formal document confirming disability, if applicable;
  9. Duly filled and signed learning agreement (check the applicable course offer of the University of Clermont Auvergne, make note of a list of relevant courses, consult with the home faculty Quality Assurance Service and then fill in the first page of the document; once filled, the document should be signed by a relevant representative of the home Faculty QA service and the applicant) appendix 1.
  10. A letter of recommendation in English (recommendation should be submitted electronically by filling in the questionnaire placed in the electronic registration system mobility.tsu.ge, by a recommender indicated in the application form by an applicant, which is sent automatically to the indicated e-mail address);
  11. A motivation letter (in English) with the following technical specifications:  length - no more than 1 page; font - Times New Roman, font size - 12, line spacing - 1.0, fields – 2cm.

 

 

Interested eligible applicants should register at mobility.tsu.ge, upload full application package (in PDF format) no later than 2 pm on the 12th of March, 2021 

 

Scholarship includes

  1. Tuition waiver;
  2. Monthly stipend in the amount stipulated by the EACEA (the amount of scholarship varies by country);
  3. Roundtrip economy class ticket (within the EACEA limit).

 

!!! Visa and travel insurance-related costs are not included in the scholarship and should be paid for by the selected student(s) (including, any possible cost associated with meeting the Covid-19 pandemic regulations).

 

Additional important information:

  • The mobility management portal mobility.tsu.ge does not allow submissions after the deadline (2 pm, 12th of March, 2021). Applications that are incomplete will not be considered. The application form is considered electronically submitted only after pressing the send button. Upon successful submission of the application, the applicant will receive a relevant email notification.
  • Applicants will be interviewed remotely!
  • The given mobility program provides funding for a maximum of 5 student mobilities (one semester each) for the entire duration of the project (2021-23 years). 
  • According to the current regulations of the French Republic, a person, crossing the border, in order to enter the country, must present a negative PCR test result taken no earlier than 72 hours of border crossing; in addition, after entering the French Republic, the person must be placed in self-isolation for 7 days and repeat the PCR examination. Costs of measures to be taken to comply with regulations caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, are not covered by the given mobility program.    
  • In accordance with Article 492, Paragraph 4 of the Law of Georgia on Higher Education, students retain active enrolment at their home universities while on a study abroad. Therefore, successful completion of the administrative registration at TSU in the beginning of each semester spent abroad is absolutely mandatory! Noncompliance to this rule will result in the suspension of mobility.
