“Injury and Violence Prevention - Global Perspectives”

21-22 June 2021

Traumatic injuries and violence are a leading cause of death and disability for all ages, and there is great opportunity to reduce this individual and social burden. This event will provide an occasion to discuss Violence and Injury Prevention (VIP) issues not only from national but also from international perspectives and to reflect on how different institutions from different sectors can collaborate for future improvement in the VIP and society benefit. Symposium and Workshops may be of interest to anyone with responsibilities and interest in VIP. Symposium and workshops will provide an opportunity for physicians, public health professionals, researchers, academics, students, managers and other stakeholders to advance their knowledge and skills in Injury and violence prevention.

Types of presentation:

The following possibilities are available:

  • Oral presentations. 60-minute sessions with 8 minutes per speaker including discussion.
  • Poster presentation.

 

Abstract submission is open from 1 February 2021 to 1 May 2021. All submitted abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the International Scientific Committee. Authors will be notified of the acceptance of abstract(s) 20 May 2021. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed and published in a conference proceeding. Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.

Instructions

Abstracts should be in English, prepared in Microsoft Word: font – Times New Roman; font size- 12; line spacing - 1,5; dimensions: paragraph - 10 mm; Fields: upper, lower and left – 2,50 mm, right – 2,0 mm; the length of the abstract text should be between 350-400 words.    

Title of abstract (capital letters, Bold, central position), the name and the surname of the author(s), position, affiliation details: department, Institution, country (central position).

Please note that tables and graphs are not accepted.
