The Vocational Education Center of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) organized a training session for students on “How to Protect Our Rights in the Labor Market – Employment Contract as a Legal Guarantee”. The training was conducted by lawyer Aleksandre Toria.

According to Levan Tsikaridze, Head of the TSU Vocational Education Center, this training provides another opportunity for vocational students to deepen their knowledge and skills that will support their future employment and career development. “Recently, we held a workshop aimed at helping students better present their skills and abilities to employers. This time, the training by Aleksandre Toria will provide students with essential knowledge and experience regarding employment contracts - why signing a contract is crucial, what details to consider before signing, and, more broadly, how to protect their rights in the labor market.”  Tsikaridze stated.

The training will also be conducted in Kutaisi for the students of the Vocational Education Center in the near future. Upon completion, participants will receive special certificates.

By the end of the year, TSU Center of Vocational Education plans to hold some more workshops and masterclasses to support career development of the students.

Currently, around 400 students are enrolled in the TSU Vocational Education Center in Tbilisi and Kutaisi.
