The Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Academician Jaba Samushia, visited the Kutaisi location of the TSU Centre of Vocational Education to inspect the ongoing rehabilitation works.

During the visit, the Rector reviewed the progress of the works, the infrastructural upgrades, and the quality of the implemented renovations. According to him, the development of vocational education infrastructure is essential in order to provide students with a modern and fully equipped environment for acquiring practical skills.

As part of the rehabilitation project, the second and third floors of the building are undergoing complete renovation aimed at creating a modern learning environment that meets contemporary standards in vocational education.

Starting from the new academic year, vocational students will continue their studies in a fully renovated space, which will significantly contribute to improving the quality of education and promoting vocational education in the region.

More than GEL 1.3 million was allocated last year by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia for the rehabilitation works.

Currently, the TSU Centre of Vocational Education in Kutaisi offers 11 vocational programmes, with plans to introduce new programmes in the future.
