A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Tbilisi Public School N53, named after Ivane Javakhishvili, aimed at fostering the development of educational, scientific, and vocational cooperation.

Within the framework of the partnership, the TSU Vocational Education Centre and Public School N53 will jointly implement scientific and educational projects, organize events, public lectures and carry out various activities.

The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by the Rector of the University, Academician Jaba Samushia, and the Director of Public School N53, Nino Burjaliani. The event was attended by TSU Vice-Rector Kakhaber Cheishvili, Head of the Vocational Education Centre Levan Tsikaridze, representatives of the University and the public school, as well as students and pupils.

Following the signing ceremony, a screening of the documentary film “Ivane Javakhishvili 150” was held. The school pupils visited the TSU Library and Museum, where they viewed an interesting historical exhibition dedicated to the University and its founders.

The event was organized within the framework of the jubilee week dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the founder of Tbilisi State University.
