A masterclass on CV and cover letter preparation was held for students of the Vocational Education Centre of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

The masterclass was led by Giorgi Grigolashvili, Head of the TSU Student Services and Career Development Centre, and Elene Beberashvili, Chief Specialist of the Centre and Career Consultant. The aim of the session was to support students’ career development and promote their employment.

Within the framework of the meeting, vocational students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with modern concepts of career planning, labor market demands, and employment opportunities. Participants also received information about the key skills required for a successful career.

The masterclass was conducted in an interactive format. Students learned in practice how to prepare an effective CV and cover letter, discussed real examples, and received recommendations that will help them better present their skills in communication with employers and during job interviews.

Participants of the event were also provided with information on effective interview techniques and the common mistakes often encountered in the hiring process.

At the end of the masterclass, certificates were awarded to all participants by Levan Tsikaridze, Head of the TSU Vocational Education Centre, and Giorgi Grigolashvili, Head of the TSU Student Services and Career Development Centre.
