III Vocational Education Conference “Transforming Vocational Education in the Global Era: Innovation, Skills and Partnership”

On July 3-4, 2026, the 3rd Vocational Education Conference, titled “Transforming Vocational Education in the Global Era: Innovation, Skills and Partnership,” will be held. The event is organised by the Vocational Education Center of the LEPL Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. This annual conference aims to explore the significance of vocational education, address current challenges, highlight innovative approaches and examine opportunities for career development.

 

The conference brings together vocational students and graduates, vocational teachers, administrative staff from various vocational education institutions and partner organisations from across countries.

 

The conference serves as a platform for sharing experiences, discussing innovative approaches and exploring new opportunities for the development of vocational education in a global context.

On the second day of the conference, an excursion to Kakheti is planned for participants. The program includes a visit to the Gremi complex, a notable monument of Georgian architecture, as well as a charity visit to the social enterprise “Temi” in the village of Gremi. Clothes, toys, food and sweets collected by teachers and students will be donated to the beneficiaries of the enterprise.

 

The conference has been held annually since 2024, bringing together representatives of Georgian vocational education institutions and partner organisations. In 2026, it is expanding to an international format, with foreign partners participating for the first time.

 

To participate in the conference, papers should be submitted between May 1 and June 10, 2026, to the following email address: tsuvetconference@tsu.ge  (please include your contact details in the email).

 

Student submissions must be supported by a recommendation from their academic supervisor.

 

All participants will receive certificates of participation.

 

Conference working language: Georgian and English

 

Presentation time: 5–7 minutes

 

Q&A session: 5 minutes

 

Paper formatting requirements:

 

►The paper must be submitted in A4 format using Microsoft Word;

 

►Margins: top – 20 mm; bottom – 20 mm; left – 20 mm; right – 20 mm;

 

►Font: Sylfaen, 12pt; line spacing: 1.5;

 

►All formulas must be created using the Equation editor;

 

►Figures and illustrative materials must be embedded in the text in JPEG or BMP format;

 

►The first line should contain the title of the paper (12 pt, bold);

 

►After one line space: author(s)’ full name(s) (12 pt, bold), academic degree, and position;

 

►After one line space: a short abstract (10 pt, italic, no more than 150 words);

 

►After one line space: keywords (maximum 5);

 

►The paper should not exceed 10 pages.

►Summary in English (10 pt, no more than 500 characters; the summary must include the title of the paper, the author’s full name and academic degree in English)

 

►The presentation must be prepared in PowerPoint format and should not exceed 15 slides.
