The learning process on vocational education programs has started in TSU

The learning process for students enrolled in vocational educational programs at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University has started. TSU Rector Giorgi Sharvashidze, Head of TSU Quality Assurance Service Irma Grdzelidze and Deputy Head of TSU Administration Lasha Saghinadze congratulated the students on the start of their studies and introduced them to the opportunities that the university offers them.

 

At the meeting, the head of the center Kakha Cheishvili spoke about the news and future plans of the vocational education center. TSU vocational education programs are in great demand. This year, 1221 candidates registered for 194 vacant places in 8 programs. Among the enrolled applicants are 4 persons with special needs who will study on the programs of kindergarten teacher, tour operator and library work. It is noteworthy that among the vocational programs of TSU, the greatest demand was recorded for the specialties of tour operator, guide of cultural heritage of Georgia and kindergarten teacher.


Admissions for the fall 2019 sessions have been announced for the following vocational education programs: Kindergarten Teacher, Library Work, Customs Study, Freight Logistics, Office Work, Tour Operator, Guide of Cultural Heritage of Georgia, Evaluator.

 

Applicants enrolled in vocational education programs of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University will study both in Tbilisi and Kutaisi.
