“Tbilisi Huawei Technologies Co” is looking for a suitable candidate for the following position Job title: Datacom Engineer (Intern) Will be responsible for after-sale technical support and network rollout in the field of datacom and access network. Will be supporting our customers in all technical aspects and improve the relationship to our main service provider accounts in the Georgia.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Respond, manage, collaborate and resolve problems related to the Datacom Domain product family.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and technical support

• Monitor and handle alarms reported by management system.

• Deployment and commissioning of Datacom network equipment

• Participate in various technical trainings to improve Datacom network maintenance skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher education in the field of Telecommunications/Electronic Engineering/Information Technology

• Intermediate English

• Pro-active, self-motivated and good communication skills

• Basic knowledge in Switching & Routing &Security 

• Knowledge of optical Datacom network principles, optical access network (FTTH, FTTB, GPON) principles, analog to digital signal coding, signal modulation schemes are a plus
