Training: "Artificial Intelligence in the Academic Space – Opportunities and Challenges"

At the initiative of the Quality Assurance Service of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, a series of informational meetings has been launched for academic and administrative staff on the use and potential of artificial intelligence technologies.

 

Participants of the meeting were addressed by TSU Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia. “Our goal is for every TSU employee to be able to utilize the capabilities of artificial intelligence in order to improve the university’s management processes, learning environment, and scientific research. Retraining our academic and administrative teams is an essential part of this process, as the use of modern technologies helps make our work more efficient and innovative,” the Rector stated.

 

The trainings aim to raise awareness among university staff about the practical applications and ethical aspects of artificial intelligence technologies. Within the framework of these meetings, employees are introduced to modern AI tools, as well as their practical use in teaching, research, and administrative activities.

 

The sessions were led by Head of the Quality Assurance Service Shota Potolashvili and Chief Specialist Tinatin Davitashvili.
