Scholarship programs in Hungary Stipendium Hungaricum

Tempus Public Foundation web-site scholarship programs in Hungary (Stipendium Hungaricum) were announced in 2019-2020 academic year.

The Hungarian government's scholarship "Stipendium Hungaricum" was founded in 2013 by the Government of Hungary. More than 50 sender countries are currently involved in the program across four continents.

On February 6, 2017, a new educational exchange program was signed between the Ministry of Human Resources of Hungary and the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia to support the Hungarian scholarship program for 2017-2020. Participants of the program will be: Hungarian Community - Tempus Public Fund and Georgia - LEPL - International Education Center.

The program aims at financing 80 citizens of Georgia at higher education institutions in Hungary following academic steps:
• Bachelor - 25,
• Masters - 25,
• Doctoral studies - 20,
• Integrated five year master's degree - 5,
• Art direction (for all academic level) - 5.
The program provides funding for the Hungarian language preparatory course for those scholars who want to continue their studies in Hungarian.
