On November 6, Borislava Mircheva and Bilal Tabti, representatives of the International Monetary Fund’s Middle East and Central Asia Department, visited the Faculty of Economics and Business at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Professor Giorgi Gaganidze, the dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, hosted the guests. The Head of the Department of Finance and Banking, Professor Irakli Kovzanadze, also attended the meeting. The hosts introduced the university's educational programs and toured the faculty's educational infrastructure with the guests.
After the meeting, the IMF representatives held a public lecture for students and faculty on the topic: “Economic Sustainability in Times of High Uncertainty: Will It Sustain?” The interactive lecture aroused great interest among the attendees.
