Сall for applications within the framework of Bilateral Exchange Program for a Spring Semester of the Academic Year 2020-21 at the University of Warsaw (Poland) for TSU students of the first semester of Master level studies

 

Language of instruction: English

 

Scholarship terms: tuition waiver, monthly stipend (to cover food and accommodation costs)

!!! Expenses related to visa, health insurance and international travel or any other additional costs are not included in the scholarship.

 

Course catalogue

 

 

The applicants for the given call should meet one of the below-listed prerequisites:

a) Own one of the following English language proficiency certificates (B2 level): TOEFL, IELTS or CAMBRIDGE certificate. The certificate should be taken no earlier than 2 calendar years before the application deadline;

OR

b) TSU institutional language test results (the 13th of March, 2019, or the 5th of October, 2020; with a minimum score of 71 points)

OR

c) Certificate of study abroad at a university level for a minimum of 1 semester on a fully English instructed program.

 

Selection process:

Stage 1: Eligibility check (Tbilisi State University)

Stage 2: Interview with the selection committee (Tbilisi State University)

Stage 3: Nomination for mobility (Tbilisi State University)/scholarship award (host University)

 

Required documents:

  1. A copy of a passport (in case you do not have one, please upload a copy of your ID card) ;
  2. CV in Europass format (in English);
  3. Certificate of enrollment at TSU ;
  4. A certificate of English language competence (see above the prerequisites section)
  5. A formal document confirming disability, if applicable;
  6. A scanned copy of the Bachelor’s diploma;
  7. A scanned copy of the Diploma Supplement (in English; the document should indicate the GPA);
  8. Dully filled and signed learning agreement (check carefully the web page of the University of Warsaw, make note of courses relevant to your home faculty study level and program, consult with the home faculty Quality Assurance Service and then fill in the first page of the document; once filled, the document should be signed by a relevant representative of the home Faculty QA service and the applicant), appendix 1
  9. A letter of recommendation (recommendation should be submitted electronically by filling in the questionnaire available in the mobility management portal (mobility.tsu.ge), by a recommender indicated in the application form by the applicant; the questionnaire is sent automatically to the e-mail address entered in the portal by the applicant).
  10. A motivation letter (in English) with the following technical specifications:  length - no more than 1 page; font - Times New Roman, font size - 12, line spacing - 1.0, fields – 2cm.

 

Interested eligible applicants should register on mobility.tsu.ge, upload full application package (in PDF format) and submit it no later than 13:00 on November 4, 2020.

!!! Applications received via email will not be considered! The mobility management portal does not allow late submissions.

 

 

 

 

Additional important information:

Applicants will be interviewed remotely!

  • The date and time of the interview will be communicated individually to all applicants on the e-mail address indicated in the portal.

COVID-19 related: Depending on the epidemiological situation, the host university together may consider postponing the mobility for the next semester or cancelling it;

In accordance with Article 492, Paragraph 4 of the Law of Georgia on Higher Education, students retain active enrolment at their home universities while on a study abroad. Therefore, successful completion of the administrative registration at TSU at the beginning of each semester spent abroad is absolutely mandatory! Noncompliance to this rule will result in the suspension of mobility.
