The Faculty of Humanities of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Ariel University will hold the First International Scientific Conference dedicated to Professor Reuven Enoch (Ruben Enukashvili), Georgian Jews in Georgia and Israel on 17–18 November 2026.
Those wishing to participate in the conference must submit their abstracts by 30 August 2026 to the following email address: tsuconference@tsu.ge
Format of participation: In-person (presentation).
The conference will include (but is not limited to) the following thematic directions:
Georgian Jews in Georgia and Israel
Georgian and Hebrew languages and educational centers — past and
present
Monuments of Georgian material culture in Israel
Monuments of Jewish material culture in Georgia
Jewish religious and secular identities
Hebrew-Georgian and Georgian-Hebrew translation and literary
relations
Conference Venue: Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Georgia
Working languages: Georgian, English
Within the framework of the conference, there will be a presentation of the anthology of Georgian translations of Ecclesiastes, as well as a photo exhibition dedicated to Reuven Enoch.

5. Main text of the abstract (submitted both in MS Word and PDF formats) in
English
6. 3–5 keywords (in English)
7. Format - A4
8. Font - UNICODE (Sylfaen)
9. Begin the main text of the abstract/article on a new page, font size 12
10. Photographs or other graphic material must be submitted in JPG format
11. Length of the abstract: 300 words
