Vocational students of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University visited the TSU Zoological Museum as part of an educational tour. Visitors had the opportunity to see up to 5,000 unique exhibits, the diversity of Georgia’s fauna, including specimens that can only be seen in the university museum. The tour was conducted within the framework of the career development program.

The TSU Zoological Museum was established in 1946 by Academician Niko Ketskhoveli. Currently, among approximately 5,000 exhibition specimens, the collection includes: unique coral polyps, butterflies, beetles, mollusks, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. The bird collection presented in the museum is unique in that it includes all species of resident and migratory birds found in Georgia.
