The Tbilisi State University student union Skhivi Film Club organized the first screening of the cult film "The Great Green Valley." The screening was attended by a special guest, the film's director and one of the greatest figures of Georgian cinematography, Merab Kokochashvili.
He discussed the film's theme, content, and the era in which "The Great Green Valley" was created. The students saw the screen story and heard from the director himself about his memories, the creative process, and his vision, which left a significant mark on the history of Georgian cinema.
Kokochashvili noted how gratifying it is that his work and cinema in general continue to fascinate today's youth. He believes that students’ interest in the film is the best proof that the themes and emotions he worked on can still lead a creative dialogue between generations.
