TSU Representatives Awarded for Fruitful Scientific, Educational and Public Endeavors

 

A solemn award ceremony for researchers was held at the conclusion of the two-day scientific conference dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the establishment of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences.

The following individuals were recognized for their significant contributions to the development and popularization of Georgian science, as well as their long-standing fruitful scientific, educational and public endeavors:

Tbilisi State University Rector, Academician Jaba Samushia;

TSU Deputy Rectors — Kakhaber Cheishvili and Erekle Astakhishvili;

TSU Professors — Vakhtang Licheli, Petre Babilua and Giorgi Gvedashvili.

Zurab Pataradze, Chairman of the Adjara Autonomous Republic Government, Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Tsotne Ananidze, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Adjara Autonomous Republic, Maia Khajishvili, Minister of Education and Sports of the Adjara Autonomous Republic, Zviad Gabisonia, Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, and Tite Aroshidze, Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, awarded the researchers certificates of appreciation.

The award ceremony recognized the significant contributions of academicians, professors, and research fellows to Georgian science, the dissemination of scientific knowledge, the education of the younger generation, and the strengthening of the country's intellectual potential.

The Ministry of Education and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara initiated the event, which was organized by Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.
